About Department |
The Department of Mechanical Engineering came into being in the year 1999 and
the first batch of Mechanical Engineers graduated in the year 2003. At present
it offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various facets of
Mechanical Engineering. The Department offers Master of Technology courses in
System Design Engineering. The Department has laboratory and workshop facilities
with state-of-the-art equipment to carry out research in all areas related to
Mechanical and Production & Industrial Engineering. The faculty in the
Department are actively engaged in sponsored research and consultancy projects

We aim at knowledge dissemination through seminars, symposia
and various refresher course at national level. |
